Tordi Sagar and roof top yoga

Day 5 involved yoga on the roof at 6 30am. I'm not a morning human, if I could start life at 10am I would. We've slept in once since we set off, so if you like your tours to be a leisurely pace this isn't for you! I wasn't feeling that alarm but earlier in the trip I realised it hurt to bend forward to put shoes on, so I definitely needed a stretch. I've also been debating booking a few days in a Yoga retreat before I go home so I should probably work out how much I like Yoga. It was a good session, the instructor poked us into position and I stretched parts of me that I didn't think stretched. I'd love to pretend I'm a Yogi but I'm not in the slightest, so a retreat is going to be a challenge.

We took a 4x4 to Tordi Sagar, which felt like good way to experience India. It was hot, dusty and we thought we might die a few times. We often had to leave the road entirely for big old tractors and they don't leave a lot of wriggle room! Tordi Sagar offered us a truer Indian experience. We explored the village and watched pottery making. The villagers were sweet and happy to see us, children wanted to be in our photos and we petted baby goats. There were a lot of twinging ovaries.

We explored the Dam and watched the sun set over sand dunes while drinking Chai. You'll work out from all of my photos that every sunrise and sunset involves Chai. Actually, everything involves Chai. I won't complain because I now love Chai.
